At Nanma Palliative Care we understand that caring for a bedridden loved one can be challenging, both physically and emotionally. We have our dedicated team of caregivers to provide exceptional care and support to both the patient and their family. We believe that every individual deserves to be treated with dignity and compassion, even in the face of illness or limitations. Our team of compassionate caregivers is dedicated to enhancing their quality of life, by providing comfort and ensuring their dignity is upheld. How Are We Different?
Our caregivers are trained professionals who possess the necessary skills and expertise to provide top-notch care for bedridden patients. They are experienced in assisting with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management. Our team members are also trained to recognize and address any specific needs or concerns that may arise while caring for bedridden individuals.
But what truly sets our caregivers apart is their ability to create meaningful connections with their patients. By taking the time to listen, understand and engage with the patient, our caregivers forge a bond built on trust and respect. This personal touch not only enhances the patient’s well-being but also helps to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
Additionally, our caregivers understand the importance of maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for bedridden patients. They are trained to monitor and address any potential discomfort or hazards, ensuring that the patient’s physical well-being is always prioritized.
Our Journey
Nanma has attended 352 bedridden patients so far and is currently supporting around 260 patients. Regular visits are made by the nursing team as per a scheduled chart. This unit has already positioned many recliner beds, wheelchairs, walkers and even oxygen concentrators with cylinders with the needy patients. We are in the process of expanding our services by adding more care givers and reaching out to more bed ridden patients in nearby villages and towns in the central Kerala region. Support
We are open to all kinds of support and donations from like-minded people. This would help us to expand our operations and reach out to more needy ones. Donations can be made by supplying medicines, consumables and other geriatric equipment that can help them make their daily routine comfortable.
